A technique that measures the intraocular pressure (IOP) by a puff of air delivered to the outer part of the eye. It is used in the detection and management of glaucoma. Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions characterised by damage to the optic nerve usually due to excessively high IOP. This increased pressure if untreated can lead to progressive and permanent vision loss.
Urea Breath Test
Urea Breath Test $150
Helicobacter Pylori (HP) infection has been shown to be involved in the pathogenesis of chronic active gastritis that may lead, in turn, to duodenal and gastric ulcer disease and gastric cancers. A strong association has been reported between HP infection and gastric lymphoma and adenocarcinoma of the body and antrum of the stomach. The Urea Breath Test is a sensitive office test for detecting HP infection.
