Cardio-Pulmonary Assessment

Resting ECG                           $35

An electrocardiogram is a painless, non-invasion test to diagnose many types of heart conditions, such as irregularity in heart rhythm, structural abnormalities, or problems of supply of blood or oxygen to the heart.

Treadmill Exercise Stress Test  $180

Exercise testing is a cardiovascular stress test using treadmill exercise with ECG and blood pressure monitoring.

This test is used frequently to assess the probability and extent of coronary disease, determine functional capacity, prognosis, and the effects of therapy.

Lung Function Test - Spirometry $40

Spirometry is used to establish baseline lung function, evaluate dyspnea, detect pulmonary disease, monitor effects of therapies used to treat respiratory disease, evaluate respiratory impairment, evaluate operative risk, and perform surveillance for occupational-related lung disease

Tonometry

Air Puff Tonometry                  $35

A technique that measures the intraocular pressure (IOP) by a puff of air delivered to the outer part of the eye.

It is used in the detection and management of glaucoma.

Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions characterised by damage to the optic nerve usually due to excessively high IOP. This increased pressure if untreated can lead to progressive and permanent vision loss.

Urea Breath Test

Urea Breath Test                   $150

Helicobacter Pylori (HP) infection has been shown to be involved in the pathogenesis of chronic active gastritis that may lead, in turn, to duodenal and gastric ulcer disease and gastric cancers. A strong association has been reported between HP infection and gastric lymphoma and adenocarcinoma of the body and antrum of the stomach.

The Urea Breath Test is a sensitive office test for detecting HP infection.

Well Women Screen

Cervical cancer is the second most common malignancy in women worldwide, and it remains a leading cause of cancer-related death for women in developing countries.

Regular screening (1 to 3 yearly) with Papanicolaou tests (Pap smears) has been useful in detection of early changes in cervical cells and reducing the incidence of invasive cervical cancer.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer and the second most common cause of death from cancer in women.

Routine mammogram examination is recommended for all women aged 40 and above.
